This Shimano Big Pit Reel has been hailed by a lot of carp anglers as “the classic” big pit reel. This XTA version includes the Shimano Baitrunner Spool System. This Biomaster XTA reel features a Cold Forged Aluminium spool, big enough to take 430 yards of 12lb line! With its traditional large powerful crank handle, a 2 Speed Oscillation system coupled with Aero Wrap for superlative line lay, this big boy is not to be messed with.
The XT-A reel is also equipped with 3 A-RB bearings, a Roller Bearing for a 7 ball bearing equivalent and what’s more, this whole amazing package even includes a spare XT7 Graphite spool. Let’s go fishing!
