Okuma’s patented baitfeeding system allows anglers to disengage their spinning reel spool and allow their bait to run freely. It incorporates a secondary micro-adjustable drag system at the rear of the reel that allows for precise adjustment of the spool for bait control. In order to disengage this system, simply turn the handle. The on/off lever on the rear will automatically disengage the baitfeeding system.
After 2 years in the development stage, Okuma has changed their mould to incorporate the patented Elliptical Oscillation System giving the angler not only the perfect line lay, but also making the reel more durable when playing fish at long distances.
