Welcome to baitrunnerreel.co.uk. My name is Phil and I have been fishing for about 40 years. I started out as a general coarse angler and through my local club, got into match fishing. After several years I found myself married with children and didn’t find the time to go fishing very often. However, when my children had started to grow up, I decided to get back into the fishing game again. I also discovered carp fishing and, along with my son and a work colleague realised that things had moved on a long way since my old float fishing days. I invested in a complete carp fishing set up and gradually built up my fishing tackle to include specialist carp rods, reels, bivvies and all of the related paraphernalia that most carp anglers seem to accumulate.
This site is all about the now famous baitrunner reels that most carp anglers just couldn’t do without. I hope to bring help and advice to those starting out in the carp fishing game and also to help you to save a few quid in the process.
